2022 African Schools Individual Chess Championship

The 2022 African Schools Individual Chess Championship (ASICC) is set to run from 10th to 18th December 2022 in Monrovia, Liberia.
Chess Kenya has announced a series of ASICC regional qualifier events to take place in September 2022.  Category winners will then proceed for the finals at Moi Girls School in Eldoret from 18th to 23rd September 2022.
The category winners in National Finals will automatically qualify to represent Kenya.

Venue: Mosa Sec School, Kitui

Date: September 3, 2022
Venue: Kiamuiru Sec School, Nyeri

ASICC – North Rift Qualifiers
Date: September 3, 2022
Venue: Sing’ore Girls Sec School

ASICC – South Nyanza Qualifiers
Date: September 4, 2022
Venue: Kisii High School, Kisii

ASICC – Nairobi Qualifiers
Date: September 10, 2022
Venue: Riara Primary School, Imara Daima

ASICC – Kiambu Qualifiers
Date: September 10, 2022
Venue: TBA

ASICC – Trans-Nzoia Qualifiers
Date : 3rd September 2022.
Venue : Legacy schools, Kitale.
ASICC – Kajiado Qualifiers
Date: 3rd September
Venue: Laiser Hill Academy

Under 07: Players born on or after 1 January 2015
Under 09: Players born on or after 1 January 2013
Under 11: Players born on or after 1 January 2011
Under 13: Players born on or after 1 January 2009
Under 15: Players born on or after 1 January 2007
Under 17: Players born on or after 1 January 2005
2021 African Schools Individual Chess Championship gets underway.

2017 African Schools Individuals Chess Championship.
Kenya scoops medals at 2016 African Schools Individual Chess Championship.
