Govhar Beydullayeva is World Girls U20 champion

Govhar Beydullayeva is the winner of the World Girls U20 Championship despite losing her last round game, as she had a full-point advantage and better tiebreak over her main rival Assel Serikbay from Kazakhstan. Govhar Beydullayeva was leading at the halfway point and never let her lead slip. An important draw against the rating favorite Nurgyul Salimova and consecutive wins against Assel Serikbay and Mariam Mkrtchyan were enough for Beydullayeva to secure the victory.
