The Estonian Championship is taking place from 10–18 December 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 15 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament with participation of Kaido Kulaots, Aleksandr Volodin, Meelis Kanep,Tarvo Seeman, Ilja Sirosh, Kalle Kiik, Nikita Rychagov, Andrei Timoshin, Margus Soot and Marti Medar.
