FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Omrane Superieur, Tunisia

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organised from 13/02/2022 to 15/02/2022 in Omrane Superieur, by the Tunisian Chess Federation & Sporting Arina – Chess Club Omrane Superieur, under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar will be the Omrane Superieur, Tunisia.

The cost of the Seminar is Euro 200.

The Lecturer will be IA/IO Messaoudi, Bechir (TUN), FIDE Lecturer and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Cherif, Mondher (TUN).

The language of the Seminar will be French with translation into Arabic.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

MONDAY, 13 February
15:00-19:00 LAWS OF CHESS
19:00-20:00 USE OF ELECTRONIC CLOCKS
20:00-21:00 FAIR PLAY REGULATIONS & ANTI‐CHEATING GUIDELINES FOR ARBITERS

TUESDAY, 14 February
08:00-11:00 SYSTEMS OF PLAY AND TIE-BREAK REGULATIONS
11:00-14:00 SWISS SYSTEMS AND PAIRING RULES
16:00-19:00 COMPETITIONS RULES AND STANDARDS OF CHESS EQUIPMENTS
19:00-21:00 RATING AND OVER THE BOARD TITLES

WEDNESDAY, 15 February
08:00-11:00 REVIEW, QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
16:00-20:00 EXAMINATION TEST
