The President of the African Chess Confederation, Madam Tshepiso Lopang will be one of the speakers at the leadership workshop dubbed “Women and Chess Promoting Tolerance and Empowerment” on Monday 06 February 2023.
WIM Lopang will be joined by WIM Anastasia Sorokina, WGM Dana Reizniece-Ozola, WGM Irene Sukandar, and WGM Anastasia Karlovich who are all highly acclaimed chess players. They will share their experiences and showcase how chess can change women’s lives for the better
The workshop is part of the Tolerance Games – Asian Chess Women’s Contest that will take place in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The event will be held in hybrid format and can be attended either in person at the Conference Centre Foyer, Level P4- Conrad Hotel, Abu Dhabi or online via FIDE’s YouTube channel.
