
The African Chess Confederation will host their maiden Super Zonal Chess Championship this month in Lagos, Nigeria.
And under the auspices of the African Chess Confederation, the Nigerian Chess Federation is invitating all Zonal Champions from 2024 and 2025 to the debut edition of the ACC Super Zonal Chess Championship.
The African Chess Confederation is made up of five zones namely Zone 4.1 (Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia) Zone 4.2 (Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal,Sierra Leone, Togo), Zone 4.3 (Burundi,Cameroon,Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Rep. of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tome & Principe), Zone 4.4 (Comoros,Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles,Somalia, South Sudan ,Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda) and Zone 4.5 (Angola
Botswana,Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe)
