As we gear up for the thrilling 2025 chess season, the African Chess Confederation is set to host an inspiring meet and greet session, kicking off today.
The African Chess Confederation inaugurates its Meet and Greet today with a Portuguese session taking place via Zoom from 18:00GMT to 19:00GMT.
A total of six sessions will be organized by the continental chess governing board, accommodating diverse linguistic and chess stakeholders.

During the session, ACC officials will deliver a comprehensive overview of the Confederation, encompassing its mission, vision, and primary objectives.
Furthermore, they will unveil their forthcoming initiatives, programs, and projects.
Participants will also be afforded the opportunity to share their perspectives and recommendations with the Executive Board.
The sessions are open to all stakeholders in chess and will be delivered in Portuguese, French, and English.
